ABSTRACTS

 

At ICCA Stroke Norway 2018, we would like to offer the opportunity to submit abstracts of scientific work or challenging cases. Abstracts and cases may be accepted as posters or oral presentations. Presenters will be listed in the final program as faculty and receive a discount on registration. Please note that we do not cover your travel and hotel expenses for the meeting.

Submission

​

For both abstracts and cases, please include the full names of all authors, institution, city, state, country in your submission, and state the name, address, phone/fax, and e-mail address of the corresponding author at the bottom of the page. Please also indicate the category for your abstract or case:

 

  • Carotid stenting

  • Acute stroke intervention

Abstract Guidelines

​

The entire abstract should not exceed more than 500 words. You are kindly requested to submit abstracts matching the following guidelines:

 

  • The abstract should be as informative and succinct as possible

  • State specific object of study and purpose

  • State method and sources used

  • Summarize results obtained

  • State conclusions reached

Case Guidelines

​

Cases may include reports of negotiation of complex anatomy, device-specific challenges or complication management on intervention. Please write the case history according to the following:

The case history shall include the following:

 

  • Title

  • History and physical

  • Imaging

  • Indication for intervention

  • Intervention

  • Learning points of the procedure

 

The case should be less than 500 words in length and can be accompanied by 2 pictures (JPG, TIFF) or 2 moving images (MOV, MP4). 

 

Please do not place your moving images in the word file. You can send us your file to the following e-mail address l.klos@cme4u.org.

Deadline for submission is 5th September 2018. 

 

The scientific committee will review the submitted cases and abstracts after the deadline and you will receive an e-mail with further instructions.
